The new strategic direction is implemented in the company until 2025 as a guide for actions, focusing efforts on 2 strategic business units, which are:
THE CALIBRATED STEEL UEN: Focuses its productive activity on the manufacture and marketing of calibrated steel bars for the focus sectors: Autoparts, Electrical, Metalworking, Machinery and Equipment, Traders.CABLE ROADS UNIT; Designs, manufactures and installs integral solutions for crop transportation for the following sectors: Banana, Palm, Flowers, Avocado and Citrus.
2018
To date, the company has consolidated its global leadership in the banana cableway market with presence in more than 30 countries in the Americas, Africa and Asia. Internationalization is also underway in the oil palm sector in Africa and Asia.
2014

2010
We complement oil palm cables with post-harvest solutions such as Trailing and Weighing Units, Unloading Platforms and Shovel Lift Conveyors.
2006
Cableway systems for palm fruit transportation were started. Simultaneously, the Mobile Cable for transportation applications in mountain crops was started to serve the citrus and avocado sectors.
2004
We make our first negotiations in the Philippines, supplying systems to Lapanday and Del Monte Philippines. We also started the development of equipment for banana packing and packing house buildings, complementing the line of Cableways and Air Support.
2003
Centro Aceros installs its pipe manufacturing line in order to complete the integration of products that make up the Cable Track systems, becoming the only fully integrated producer in the world, from raw materials, design, manufacturing, installation and service. This integration was the beginning of the company’s leadership in the world market of Cable Via systems.
1998
We consolidated African markets and began exporting to Central America.
1995
Centro Aceros starts its internationalization making the first exports of Cable Track, Fruit Yards and Air Support systems in Cameroon and Ivory Coast for the multinationals Del Monte and Compagnie Fruitière.
1994
Also, this year we began our incursion into the Colombian flower sector by installing the first Cables Via systems in greenhouses.
1993
After making important advances in the local market of Cable Track, Fruit Yards and Air Support systems in the Santa Marta area, Centro Aceros makes its incursion in the Urabá area, hand in hand with the Colombian trading companies Probán, Banacol and Unibán.
1991
The company detects an important opportunity in Cable Via systems in the banana sector, supported by the planting of more than 3,000 hectares that the multinational company Chiquita Brands is developing in the Santa Marta area. Thus was born the Cable Vias SBU.
1989
Production lines for calibrated bars and wires are introduced.
1987
Centro Aceros SAS, was founded as a distributor and importer of steel for the manufacture of machinery and equipment.
